Instagram’s explore page is a page that you want to have your instagram account on.The question I always seem to get is how do I get it to show up there? I am going to share two ways to help land your account there. There are two things that you must ask yourself first, which are, Are you using hashtags and being present?

Hashtags? There is always mixed feelings about them, do they help or do they not? When you’re using hashtags that is another tool for you to utilize that will help someone land on your page from their feed scrolling. When you post a photo you want to make sure you use 30 hashtags because when people find your photo in a hashtag they will like your photo and comment which in return will help instagram see that other people want to see your photos. The more your photo is liked and commented on the more your photo is moved to the top of the hashtags you have used and then it will begin to appear to other people in the explore page that have been looking upon those hashtags. Appearing the the explore page will help other users who are not following you to actually see your posts and they will most likely head over to your page and start engaging with your other photos.

Be Present! These two words are two of the most important words in the Instagram world. What do I mean by, be present? In this world, being there for you people is what will help you post and account reach the highest potential. When you are present on your post, which means when people are taking the time to come to your page and comment on your post, you want to take the time back to respond to their comment. Not only are your engaging with your audience, you are also showing Instagram that your post is active which will it open it up to more people who are looking through the explore page to find new inspiration. When you are commenting back or even answering questions on your post, the is constantly bringing your post up in the recent post of any hashtags you are using. The move your post is pushed to the top of hashtag groups the more your photo will appear in the explore page. This is another tool that will help others find your feed!
