Spring cleaning is one of my favorite tasks, crazy right? One thing about spring cleaning is that you get to have new organizing tools. This spring, I have teamed up with Wayfair to get organized with their new products. There are many spots in my home that need a spring refresh because, let’s be really honest; over the past months be home has been so crazy that I need some organizations! I am going to share room by room that I want to spring clean and how I am going to organize these spaces.
The first spot that needs to a cleaning is my closet and my jewelry collection. Wayfair has some adorable ways to organize your jewelry and for myself that is huge deal because, I have a ton of earrings that I need to stop loosing. I am going to share a few different styles of the organizers since not everyone wants the one on the wall, like I am going to use. Even though you have an organizer in place you can still have it stylish.
Now my favorite way to organize a space but, still be able to style and use the space is shelving! As many of you have seen throughout my home, I have shelving in four of my most used rooms. These include the bathrooms, laundry room, and office. Shelving is a great way to hold your everyday use items but, also having a space to use them as decor staple pieces. For example my laundry room, I use the industrial farmhouse shelving to hold my laundry detergent, dryer sheets, hangers, and decor pieces. This is a way to stay organized with your products and have a stylish room. Adding in shelving to any space is one way to keep things neat and organized since it is out in the open!
On to my second favorite way to use your everyday use items for decor while spring cleaning. How many of you have throw blankets, pillows, and more bedding? I am probably one of the worse when it comes to having too many pillows but, hey there is always one thing we love right? I have found a fun way to store and organize these but, still have them apart of my home decor. That is with a fun glass front cabinet. When spring cleaning if you layer a glass front cabinet in a bedroom with extra linens, greenery, and a good vintage piece, it can also serve as a decor piece. I finally gave in a tried this because I need to spring clean my guest closet of all of the extra pillows, throws, and linen and it worked out perfect. While creating an organized spot for everything, it also became a cozy corner for great home decor.
Finally when you need to fill a space but, also make sure it stays in order, grab a basket! In my home I have baskets for everything whether or not anyone can see that space, I am sure there is a basket in it. For myself, using a basket to organize is a great way to stay in order without having an eyesore. This comes in handy especially in my dinning room when I have my open cabinets. I use baskets to hold napkins, recipe books, or even extra cups but, you would never know what was there because they stay hidden and neat. Wayfair has some amazing and affordable baskets the you can use a decor pieces while staying in organized.
Spring cleaning is something that I love doing because, it helps you get you house back to a clean fresh start for the start of what is a busy season for most. I hope that sharing the ways and products that I use to stay organized after a good deep spring cleaning, will inspire you to try it out. Thank you as always for stopping by the blog today and everyday, XOXO
