Do you love a good simple cozy fall tablescape? I wanted to share three different ways to use items from around your house; to create a fall tablescape that will make your family and friends feel that fall feeling. When I think of fall I instantly think of pumpkins and pears, why? Well when you turn on the Hallmark channel for those amazing fall movies; they are either in a pumpkin patch or a pear orchard. That is where I start to gather my ideas for what I can do for tablescapes.
This first simple tablescape was created by using the pear stems, summer flowers that I had laying around the house; a floral fall stems from Michael’s; and a craft pumpkin. I chose to make a floral arrangement for the center of the table to create that fall wow factor. Along with the floral arrangement I wanted to add in that burnt orange and amber color; to add the cozy vibe. I had this bottle around the house from when I picked it up at an antique store awhile back.
I grabbed a stem of these burnt orange leaves from Hobby Lobby. These were to add into the amber bottle for that pop fall orange. After adding the floral I wanted to add in layers and textures. I used some plates, a cutting board, and of course a chippy stand. Simple and layered is an easy way to style a tablescape and then finish it off with a cozy candle.
Now off too the second look, for a more simple way to create a tablescape. Some looks are just as beautiful even if they are just a few pieces that make them up! In this look I took a basket that was layering around and filled it with some orange brown and white hydrangeas; plus some pieces of the floral that I used in the pumpkin floral arrangement. After places the basket I grabbed some of the plates and bowls; that I picked up at a garage sale and layered around the basket to add some height and texture. Then you all know where I am going next.. right? Add in the pumpkins! That is it simple and easy.
Sometimes you want to create a look that is nothing more than a few of your favorite dishes and some antique jugs to add the height you need to create that wow tablescape that you can see from across the room. Creating this look only takes a few dishes, a pumpkin and some fun vintage jars. I did pop in these adorable pear stems because to me fall screams pears even if they are faux. These adorable pear stems came form Afloral and are amazing for different types of styling. This look took a total of about 10 miss to create and it can easily be changed out for the type of dinner that you will be hosting in your home.
Finally but not last this tablescape is the most layered look but is still just as simple to create. In this one I mixed faux hydrangeas with real hydrangeas inside of an antique crock and let’s be honest the crocks just make the tablescape. You can make this look either simple or more layered. If you just want a simple look you can take out the chippy architectural pieces and just use the crocks, bowls and pumpkins. I personal love all the layers and that is why I added in the architectural pieces. Either way the crocks and pumpkins create such a cozy fall tablescape.
Thank you so much friends, like each day for stopping by the blog. I really hope these simple fall tablescapes will help you great one of your very own, XOXO
