Simple and neutral is becoming a popular trend throughout the holidays. The transition from winter to spring decor can be confusing with Valentine’s Day in the middle. This year I did decide to branch out and add in some neutral Valentine’s Day decor into our home.
In our dining room, I wanted to create a cozy atmosphere with simple table decor. I created the table runner with some white and cream fabric I had laying around the house and an extra drop cloth that was out in the garage. The table runner idea came from one of my fellow bloggers who has an amazing style. I added in the ruffled fabric to create the sense of Valentine’s Day.
While out this week at the antique stores, I found these adorable vintage heart cookie cutters. Layering in these cookie cutters to add the theme of Valentine’s Day help add that metal texture into the table display. The normal theme for this holiday is bright pink and
The kitchen and dining room is still keeping the cozy home vibes but with neutral pops of Valentines Day decor. Transitioning from winter to spring is a time that you can mix the two together. I chose to keep some of the winter greens with the new pale pink tones for a cozy feel in the home. I hope this helps with adding in simple Valentine’s to your everyday home.
