Hello from Waco! We are having a great time here and are heading out to some exciting antique malls today. I could not wait to share how to create a simple green dining area for the in between the seasons. I want to do a tablescape that I could transition into the spring season, which meant for me lots of simple greenery.
First I started to envision this simple green tablescape I knew I wanted neutral tones. The little nooks around the dining room I chose to keep mostly simple with just some pots and greenery. The use to be a coffee bar is more like a potting area for this season to create that cozy start to spring. The main table has some unique vintage goodies on it. I was scrolling through my Pinterest for a minute while at my favorite local antique store. I became inspired by one of my favorite bloggers.
I just fell in love with the way she paired the neutral creams and whites with simple greenery. As I was walking around the store I came across this vintage laundry basket. That is when it came to me, this basket with some simple greens in it. I choose to leave the little messy details apart of the display.
The greenery that I put in the basket gave the table a little more natural messy look. Those messy looks can make the display pop. The little throw towel gave the little bit of layering that I needed to add texture. I am looking forward to adding in the spring touches to this tablescape. I am hoping that this blog will help you create a cozy display. Now back to finding some vintage goodies and the amazing food, XO XO
