Oh friends there is cooler temperatures here in NC this weekend and it is giving me all the cozy Fall vibes! While drinking my coffee yesterday morning I couldn’t help but dreaming of a fall tone tablescape. I thought why not even though I have been trying to hold out on setting one until I get some pumpkins. I just could not wait any longer with all the cozy fall vibes here.
What do you do when you love pumpkins and they are not at the farmer’s market yet? You grab all the warm fall tones which include dried gourds, vintage items, and neutral fall floral!
Let’s start with a taupe or cream linen base. This will start with a layer against the warm wood tone. Plus I love the soft texture it starts with. Now add some fall floral, I know some people add this last but, I like to work with height to see what I need to fill in under. Many textures are what I like to include in a tablescape to give it that cozy look.
Creating a base of low height is a way to fill space without looking too over crowded. I like to use vintage plates and mugs for this. This time I even popped in a vintage plate holder. I picked this one up on Friday at one of my favorite antique stores. This was a perfect way of adding in height, dimension, and layers all in one.
Although I had levels of height and a mixture of texture there was still some elements missing. Those were gourds because, there really needed to be a fall staple touch here. Even though the gourds are beautiful on their own. I still wanted a little more of a texture to at least one of them. This is where my vintage cloche came in! Finished out this space with some brass candle sticks for that instant cozy vibe when they are lit.
This whole tablescape and look was tied together with my fall tone rug from my favorite rug store Boutique Rugs. Also they shared a special code: ITTYBITTY for an additional discount! Creating a fall tone space will mean something different to everyone but, I hope these tips will help you create your very own. Plus you will never believe how a few table items and a rug can make any room seasonal.
You can shop this space here. We would love to see your fall tone tablescape! Share with us on Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok! Thank you for stopping by the blog today and everyday!
