Christmas food can be so much fun with how creative we can make it. Creating a simple Christmas charcuterie board is a just this year. Almost two years ago I stepped into the kitchen to create a charcuterie board for the first time. I was a nervous wreck but, that was a fear and boy am I glad I am over it. Charcuterie boards can look intimidating, even though they really are so much fun with no wrong way to create it.
Our family loves holiday sweets so, this year I wanted to make sure we had a dessert charcuterie board. The famous trend of the Little Debbies Christmas Tree cakes is going strong in our house for three years now. The base of the charcuterie board is the Christmas tree dip! This is so yummy and goes with many types of dippers. The best part is that the dip is so easy and simple to make.
Recipe for Little Debbies Christmas Tree Cake Dip:
Ingredients
Instructions:
Step `1: In a large mixing bowl break the cakes into small pieces to make for easy mixing. You can use the vanilla or chocolate ( your choice, we love vanilla)
Step 2: Add all other ingredients into the bowl but make sure the cream cheese is soften and the cool whip is thawed. This will make the dip smoother and easy to mix. The dip will still have chunks of cake in the dip.
Step 3: Refrigerate until serving
Step 4: Add sprinkles when serving (optional)
Now that you have your dip ready, let’s make the Christmas charcuterie board!
Dippers:
Graham Crackers, Gingerbread, Vanilla Wafers, Teddy Grahams, Apples, and anything of your choice.
This is where the fun begins. There is not a right or wrong way for you to create this. I just started layering in the different dippers until the entire board was full. Check out our Instagram for the in action reel! Once the board was full, I topped it off with full size Little Debbies Christmas Tree Cakes.
Never let something scare you because you never know if it will be something fun and easy you truly enjoy creating. I hope this gives you a fun idea to create a yummy dessert for your family this Christmas! Thank you for stopping by the blog today and everyday!
