Hey there friends! New things and spaces are coming together in our home and blog. As many of you know I am always changing spaces to find that welcome down home feeling in our home. I started this year off wanting to give more and make simple easy to create spaces. Our typical normal way way of life has finally started to feel normal, if that makes sense. All things said, it was time to create a simple breakfast bar that would hopefully inspire others to create in their homes.
Creating new spaces does not have to be hard or even require a ton of changes to a space. This area is one of my favorites in the dinning room. I knew that this would be the perfect space to create breakfast bar for our guests or even us. Since I was looking to create a simple space, this is why I chose to leave the shelves of this piece styled the space with kitchen pieces and little pops of spring. The top space was all that I needed to create this bar. The key to this space was simple but useful too. I started with open of my favorite signs from Oh Sweet Skye.
This was my first staple piece of this little space. Since this was intended to be a quick easy to grab from space I did not want to make it too layered where someone could not grab the breakfast goodies easily. I choose to use three large jars to hold cereal, oatmeal, and sugar. These adorable jars are from Burke Decor and come in different sizes. I filled these jars and added these cute little wooden scoops from Hobby Lobby. These adorable scoops helped fill the jars and also will make it easy for someone to make a yummy breakfast.
The final step was just to add the bowls, spoons, and an adorable vintage ironstone creamer. Having a space that has all the things to make a quick yummy breakfast was the end goal for this space. I hope sharing how simple and easy it was to put together this space without having to change everything, will inspire you to create your very own breakfast bar. I would love to see them if you do!
Thank you for stopping by the blog today and everyday! Check out a few other ways to reuse what pieces you have in your home in this blog post. Many new things coming to the blog and Instagram this month. XOXO
