Are you ready for the 2019 Haven Conference? I put together a travel guide for the Haven Conference! I am so excited to be going and meeting all the faces behind the Instagram feed; not to mention the amazing mentors that are going to be teaching the classes! Honestly this week; I was beginning to get a little overwhelmed with what I should take and what I should not take. I was reading some past event blogger’s tips and tricks. This helped me come up with my must haves for the Haven Conference!
Trying to decide what to wear on an airplane in the summer time can be one confusing matters. We all know that it is scorching hot here in the south during the summer but; on a plane it is cold. I am going to share two of my favorite go to outfits for summer time travel. The first of is from Target; a jumpsuit that is light weight and cool enough to wear too and from the airport but; warm enough for the plane. Second outfit is a light linen pair of shorts paired with a ribbed bodysuit and a light weight cozy cardigan. When you arrive at the airport especially for the Haven Conference you still want to be cute but; cozy at the same time. I have linked below the ones that are my favorites.
Now lets talk about those accessories that you can take with you through the entire Haven Conference! First one is the Boho Hat that everyone is ravening about. This hat screams blogger; which hey isn’t that why were are all going, because we blog in some sort of way? This one can either be dresses up or dressed down. Second is a simple pair of sandals the you can slide on and off easy; to be cozy and change quickly. Sometimes at conferences they can become busy and little down time. So having a quick pair of shoes ready to go and easy to put on.
Having a cozy outfit to look the part is one job in itself but; finding a luggage that is easy to get through the airport baggage claim. Also, getting your luggage to your hotel is one must thing you need. Lately I discovered an amazing brand called American Tourist; it is a great size but still really light weight and easy to get in and out of the airport.
Finally last but not least; these are the most important items to be on your travel guide for the Haven Conference! The leading up to emails and facebook posts about have talk about having your brand ready; which means having your brand out in the open. This means you must have your business cards in hand; a item that you are carrying around for everyone to see, and lastly a journal for all of those helpful notes.
