This week has been nothing but rain and more rain. I decided to start bringing in some fresh house plants to help create a cozy feeling in the home. Although we do not have spring temperatures here in North Carolina, does not mean that the inside of the house cannot be bright. Many people have been asking what kind of decor they can bring into their home for the in between seasons.
I have found that sticking with neutral tone decor and fresh house plants help create a cozy vibe. This time can be difficult with the weather being so crazy, one day it is warm like spring and then next freezing like winter. All that crazy weather has had me stuck in a funk before I decided to try this approach to my style. Sometimes less is more when it comes to styling some areas in your home. The decor you choose to display in your home does not always have to be over the top or only antiques.
When styling you can mix in new with old. I chose to take these terrica pots and make them look old and used. Once I finished the pots, I decided to keep the display simple for this transitioning season. The neutral tones against the white make this simple display a great transitioning nook. This is until I can add some moss or bright greenery during the spring. I hope that this post will help you create that cozy feeling in your home. ! Thank you for stopping by the blog, I am so thankful for you all. XO
