Happy Thursday friends! Spring is the perfect season to spend time on the porch with loved ones. This weather is also the perfect time to decorate your outside area to really give it that cozy farmhouse feel. Come with me to find the best touches for your porch for Spring and Summer!
I love these white flower planters. Flower pots and planters can be so pricey, but I found these at Big Lots for under $50. They are the perfect touch to any porch! Planting is such a fun afternoon activity, and watching your plants grow through the season is the best feeling!
I was so happy with these new additions to my front porch! My rug from Boutique Rugs adds so much personality. They have so many great deals, and you can get an extra 15% off with my code “Itty Bitty”! Although I typically stick with ferns, I added a few other plants for a change! Any type of greenery instantly brings my porch to life. Hanging baskets are always a favorite too! I love these for allowing my plants extra sun.
What kind of plants are y’all’s favorites for the porch?
Adding texture to your porch is so easy with flower pots, furniture/stands, and even your rugs! A wonderful way to add highlights to your porch is by adding different textures. One technique to make sure every part of your porch stands out as unique is to use contrasting materials! Here, you see I have a different texture in each corner. I love how it creates such an eye-catching effect no matter what piece you look at.
Here is how I used other vintage finds to create cozy outdoor spaces and unique planters.
Adding pillows is another great way to add color and texture to your porch. The right pillows can bring color to your outsideĀ couchesĀ and chairs, bringing life to your entire porch. I love pillows because they are so easy to interchange, so you can add different looks to the porch often! (Not to mention they are a great focus point when decorating for different seasons and holidays!)
