The weather in NC has been a rollercoaster for sure! Although the warm sunny days have me all into my spring vibes. I wanted to create a simple early spring tablescape to start off the spring season. I am loving the mossy green tones mixed with cream and whites for this early spring season.
For the table, I wanted to keep it more neutral and not too much since we are in that funky weather wave. One day it is cold and the next you want to throw on a t-shirt and walk out the door. I have finally found some older terra cotta pots, have been distressed with time and weather. In this setting though, I did make these with a simple DIY project.
I will share a DIY on my Instagram on how to make these for those of you that want to try it. Honestly, it is very easy and you can make quite a few with the mixture. I wanted to mix in just a little texture with adding this towel with the fringe on it under the display.
Along with adding the layering, I wanted to find something that gave the spring feeling without using my bunnies just yet. I was in TJMaxx, one of my favorite stores of course; when I came across some vintage looking chocolate molds. I picked up a bird and two bunnies. I decided to add in the bird to give the table a vintage spring look without going over the top just yet for spring. The cream and white dishes are what I love to stick beside this vintage laundry basket. I really hope that sharing how I created the early spring tablescape will help you create yours. Thank you as always for stopping by the blog, XOXO!
