Did you hear friends? I am so excited to share that we now have our OWN presets! This has been something that I have wanted for a long time but I had no idea where to begin or what to even say my style was. When I spoke to It Girl Edits, she made it so easy to create presets with my style but also ones that could be used in any style home. When I was describing my style the first words that came to mind were airy and cozy. I wanted to make sure that there were some presets with the cozy warm tones but also some with just the light and airy, that way everyone can use these. These presets turned out more amazing than I imagined! Each of the five presets have a different tone to it, that way depending on what you photographing you can choose which one makes that photo pop!
Once the presets were made, here came the fun part naming them. This became complicated right away because I wanted it be catchy but also meaningful and that is when it came to me, name them from what you love about your home! My first one was Wallpaper because, I took a leap out of the box when I decided to put a wallpaper accent wall in our master bedroom. Once it was up I loved it! The Wallpaper Preset keeps it light and airy with just a small pop of wood tones.
Cutting Boarding is great for when you need to edit a space when you have to use a light instead of natural lighting.
The space in my home that sometimes gets too much natural light when it comes to taking photos is my entryway. The chippy preset helps balance out the light and add those cozy warm tones to make that photo stand out!
Front Porch Preset is the one to help take those shadows out, hint the name front porch. My front porch is very had to photograph when it comes to the door because there is always a shadow. Using this preset has really helped me get those unwanted shadows out.
Last but not least, Vintage Brushes! This one is my favorite so far, it really adds in those cozy warm tones that make the wood texture really come to life!
