Late summer is here and sometimes this time of year can be hard to figure out a style since summer is ending. Styling a simple and fun tablescape for late summer can be made with pieces that you have around your home and have gathered over the summer. This past week I did a tablescape with pieces that I had around my home. During the summer I keep everything simple and airy just to keep it light with the heat outside. Especially here in NC, we have been over 100 heat index for weeks now.
Now let’s get peachy…. see what I did there, because we are using peaches to create these two tablescapes. The first one I did a really simple style. I layered the table with a white plates and bowls, along with a clear juice jug. There are two must have’s in my tablescapes, which are a soft texture and a vintage piece. For this particle setting I wanted to add my must haves and then a seasonal fruit and right now in NC peaches are a big deal. When creating a summer tablescape you do not have to go out a spend a ton of money of dishes or even food, use what you have a recycle.
Recycling what you have is a great way to bring out some things that been tucked away that you never thought you would use again. This is your time to get creative and make those pieces shine! This tool box is one of my favorite finds but, it was tucked away on a bottom shelf and was barely seen. Now it is making a front and center impression with some peach stems for a pop of greenery. This piece makes the whole tablescape pop against the peach color.
Now if you want to great a little more creative you can change it up and add a few more layers to the table. This second tablescape I decided why not add in a semi naked peach cake since I had one in the kitchen from baking. The layers I added in were the sliced peaches and the cake. Making simply changes can make the whole space look like a newly styled space. I even flipped the tool box over to the other side of the table to add a new element which is such a quick and easy change but, it completely changed up the look.
Creating tablescapes for this time of year does not have to be hard. I hope these tips and tricks will help you create something fun for your table for a late summer gathering and just make you feel happy in your own space. Thank you for stopping by the blog today and everyday, XOXO
