Over the holidays I received a few new items for gifts that have made my kitchen one of my favorite places to be. The Smeg appliance line had been on my wish list for quiet some time now, for Christmas I received the Smeg retro 4 slice toaster. I am in love with this toaster! Many people have said that they would love to have the toaster but the price is a little more than what they would want to spend on a toaster. Well I am here to tell you that it is WORTH IT! The toaster can do many functions that I have never had the option with my basic toaster. I can make grilled cheese in the toaster and that is probably the part, at least for myself. Not only is the toaster a great functioning product but it also has that vintage feel and I can incorporate this appliance in my home decor and I do not have to hide it in the cabinets when I am not using it.
Along with my new toaster, I received the Magnolia Table cookbook. I will be the first one to admit I hate cooking! The easy and quick food, that I can make is the route that I always took. Since receiving this amazing book, I have enjoyed being in the kitchen and trying out these new recipes. We are heading out to Waco next month too, visit Magnolia Table and I am excited to try out more of these yummy recipes.
Last but not least, my last feature of this week is Joanna Gaines’ Home Body book. I was in a creative funk on what to do with some areas in the home. I finally took the time to step back and read a little to try and see what I can do make those areas cozy and fun to be in. This book has been a major help in those difficult areas and I encourage anyone whether in a funk or not. If you love home decor then pick up this book and see what you can add to enhance those areas of your home. Plus who doesn’t love a good Joanne Gaines’ book?
Your home is beautiful.
Thank you! I really appreciate your kind words.
