Easter is right around the corner and what is more fun than coming up with fun Easter baskets! Each year since sweet Alice came home, I have made her an Easter basket. Creating fun baskets for the ones we love is always a fun task. This year, I thought that I could share how I find fillers for my now two dogs’ Easter baskets!
I first try to find a fun basket to put their goodies in. When I am looking for a basket it is one that will not hurt them if they grab it in run. That was my first session from my first year of making Alice an Easter basket. I tend to stick with canvas or coated wire basket that way it is durable and can not break and poke them.
After getting the basket, I pick up their favorite treats. I am not sure about your dog but, mine sure does know the word and smell of dream bones. I always try to find her a new little treat that is a surprise to her like a deer antler.
Now my favorite part, add in the fun toys and a fun headband. I normally find a cute set of bunny ears or a fun head band to put in the basket to make a great photo when your give your sweet dog their basket. Then I fill the space with fun toys. I normally get one to two Easter theme toys and one that can be a tough one with my large dog.
I hope that this was fun for you friends and can do a fun basket for your sweet pups! Thank you for stopping by the blog today and everyday, XOXO

We lost our sweet Lab Layla in February so I don’t have a sweet pup to make an Easter basket. But I’ll remember this idea for the future. Happy to be hopping with you.
I am so sorry to hear that! I hope you have a great Easter though!
This is so cute Jessica. I had to giggle though when I saw your sweet pup. Alice looks like she could devour everything in one bite. Beautiful pup..
