I hope everyone had a great Christmas and so much needed family time! Christmas decor is all packed up and now we have a clean slate in our home. After Christmas I feel like it is the perfect time to clean out and start fresh with the new year coming. Transitioning your Christmas decor to a cozy winter style can be tricky when you are use to having all of bright and over the top decor.
This winter I want to keep everything simple and cozy. The best way I have found to transition without stressing over what to keep out and what to pack away. While packing up away Christmas decor, I left out the winter greenery, pine cones, and the pine trees. How I look at what I should use in my winter style, I go outside and see what I see in nature. When I think of winter; I picture Flannel blacks and pillows, pine trees, snow, pine cones, cozy lights, skis, and sleds.
Throughout this week and weekend, I will be sharing more ways to transition to cozy winter decor and make your home feel like a winter wonderland. I hope this will help you with your winter style. Check back each day for more ways to transition. Thank you for stopping by the blog.
